Membership Eligibility
You must fulfill below requirements:
- aged 18 or above at the time of application; and
- have a valid email address; and
- have a Hong Kong mobile phone number which is registered under your real name; and
- be situated in Hong Kong at the time of application.
Each applicant is entitled to only one membership and the membership is personal to the applicant only. If you are not a BOC Life Selected Policyholder or a BOC Life policyholder currently, you can register as Basic Member. If you are currently a BOC Life Selected Policyholder, once registered, you can upgrade to Advanced Member.
You can log onto Live Young Rewards App, click the menu at the top right-hand corner, then select “Your Membership” to view your member type. If you are a BOC Life Non-Selected Policyholder or Non-BOC Life Policyholder currently, your member type is set as Basic Member by default; if you are currently a BOC Life Selected Policyholder, your member type is Advanced Member.
You can enroll in BOC Life Selected Insurance Plans and upgrade to Advanced Member. Please refer to Membership Upgrade Guide for details or contact Live Young member hotline at (852) 2862 9811.
If you are an Advanced Member, and the policy you are holding is no longer effective, your member type will automatically be adjusted to Basic Member. For Basic Member passed the 90-day trial period, the functions of the Rewards App will be limited. Please refer to the “Live Young” Program Details for more information.
If you are holding a valid BOC Life Selected insurance policy, you can register or upgrade to Advanced Member, and enjoy the full functions of the Live Young Rewards App. Click here to know more.
If you have registered as Advanced Member before, your membership will be automatically updated as Advanced Member one working day after the date of successful policy reinstatement.
Yes, but for Basic Members that passed 90-days trial period, only small amounts of ㄧ〇 Coins may be distributed by the system.

Coins and Rewards
You can get ㄧ〇 Coins in 3 ways below:
- Complete Missions to earn Energy and open up Treasure Boxes on Live Young Journey
- Live Young official limited time challenges
- Sharing by friends
Completing Missions will help you earning Energy that move you along the Journey. You must open up Treasure Boxes to get ㄧ〇 Coins. The more Missions you completed, the more Energy you can earn!
After logging onto Live Young Rewards App, go to “Rewards” and click on the rewards you want to redeem.
Easy-peasy! After logging onto Live Young Rewards App, you can click the coin icon at the top left hand corner to view your ㄧ〇 Coins balance.
“Live Young” Advanced Members and Basic Members within trial period can share yourㄧ〇 Coins with your friends in Live Young Rewards App. Select the friend you would like to share coins with at either “Add Friends” and “Leaderboard” page. Then, click “Shareㄧ〇 Coins” and follow the instructions to complete.
Currently, there is no expiry date on ㄧ〇 Coins. However, we may adjust the program detail, including the expiry date of ㄧ〇 Coins, at any time in order to coordinate with our latest promotion campaign. Please refer to the terms and conditions of BOC Life “Live Young” Rewards Program and our latest information updated from time to time.
Bio Age Reduction is calculated by 5 metrics of the "Biological Age Model" - steps, active calories, BMI, resting heart rate and sleeping hours. User’s information, including age and gender, etc. are also considered for Bio Age Reduction calculation.
After you completed the transaction of the eVoucher, please click "Archive" on the upper right-hand corner of the eVoucher to classify. If you want to retrieve the eVoucher, please find it in "Archived eVouchers" page.
Upon redemption, you can select the eVoucher at “Redeemed Rewards” and view the expiry date.
Rewards App
“Live Young Journey” refreshes every month, and will start from the first date of each month, i.e. 1st May. Thus, even you cannot complete all Missions and open up all Treasure Boxes during the month, you still have to restart the Journey on the first day of next month.
Well done! If you have arrived the end point of Live Young Journey, it means you have already completed the Live Young Journey of that month. Keep it up and complete a new journey next month!
Every time when you log onto Live Young Rewards App, your health data will be synchronized automatically, and your Bio Age Result will be calculated. Therefore, we recommend you to log onto the Rewards App daily.
If you have not logged onto Live Young Rewards App for a period of time, when you log on again, the Rewards App will synchronize your health data within the past 7 days, while data beyond the past 7 days cannot be synchronized.
Go to “Add Friends” and click the button at top right-hand corner.

- Your friends click on the link or scan the QR Code to accept your invitation
If your friend has not yet become a member of BOC Life “Live Young” Rewards Program, your friend is required to register, download and login Live Young Rewards App. Afterwards, he/she is required to click on your link or scan your QR Code again to accept your invitation.

No, user can only input the sleep data of the night before manually.
Live Young Rewards App can synchronize the following health data sources from your mobile devices to calculate the Bio Age Reduction Result. If equipped with a smartwatch, more health data can be synchronized with more accurate results.

To ensure the best user experience, it is suggested to use Live Young Rewards App on the mobile device with Android OS 9.0 or above.
Your mobile device specification or operation system maybe cannot support full version of Live Young Rewards App. To ensure excellent experience, the App will change to Lite version automatically.
Live Young Rewards App can only support wearables of Garmin and Apple. Synchronizing data with wearables of other brands would cause unstable or inconsistent data connection, or even fail to synchronize any data.
Please check if you have activated the Google Fit App, you should be able to check the recorded data of your activity.

“Live Young - Premium Voucher”
You can deposit your “Premium Voucher” via 2 different methods below,
- Enter the Policy Number and Premium Voucher Code on the Premium Voucher Platform in the Live Young App. Follow the instruction to confirm the information; or
- Choose “Premium Voucher” in BOC Life eService platform. Press “Deposit Premium Voucher”, select the policy and enter the Premium Voucher Code. Follow the instruction to complete the process.
“Premium Voucher(s)” is not applicable to any policy of which the premium payment mode is in the form of prepayment or single premium or lump sum payment.
Each Eligible Policy shall have one dedicated Premium Voucher Account (Premium Wallet). If you have more than 1 Eligible Policy means you have more than 1 Premium Wallet.
You can redeem more than 1 “Premium Voucher” in Live Young Rewards App. However, the total limit of “Premium Voucher(s)” allowed to be deposited into all Premium Voucher Account(s) of each policy owner in each calendar year (i.e. 1st January - 31st December) in aggregate is capped at HKD5,000 or equivalent currency value (based on the prevailing market-based currency exchange rate as determined by BOC Life from time to time without prior notice) regardless of the number of Eligible Policy(ies) held by the relevant policy owner.
You can deposit more than the premiums due and levies you need in your Premium Voucher Account. The exceed amount cannot be refunded, but it will use to settle your next premium due and levies. Please mind that if you deposit more than HKD5,000 in each calendar year, the exceeded the amount will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred/ deposited to any other Premium Voucher Account(s) (Premium Wallet).
Each “Premium Voucher” does have its own expiry date, you need to deposit into your Premium Wallet before that date. Otherwise, it will be forfeited. If you have deposited the “Premium Voucher” into your Premium Wallet, the balance will not have an expiry date. You can use the balance to settle your next premiums due and levies.
No. The total limit of Premium Voucher(s) allowed to be deposited into all Premium Voucher Account(s) of each policy owner in each calendar year (i.e. 1st January - 31st December) in aggregate is capped at HKD5,000 or equivalent currency value. If you have more than 1 valid policy(ies) of BOC Life’s Designated Insurance Plan, the maximum limit to deposit into your Premium Wallet is still HKD5,000 only.
For example, you have 2 valid policies and you have deposited HKD5,000 “Premium Voucher” into one of your Premium Wallet. Even you have one more HKD5,000 “Premium Voucher”, you cannot deposit it into yours others Premium Wallet. Each “Premium Voucher” has it own expiry date, if you have more “Premium Voucher”, you can choose to share with your family and friends who has valid policy to use before the expiry date.
If your family and friends hold a valid policy, you can copy your redeemed Premium Voucher Code and share to them. He/She can follow the same step to deposit to his/her Premium Wallet. Each “Premium Voucher” can be used and deposited once only. Once the Premium Voucher has been successfully deposited into the Premium Voucher Account of an Eligible Policy, the code of such Premium Voucher will no longer be valid. For avoidance of doubt, each Premium Voucher is assigned with one code and may only be deposited into one designated Premium Voucher Account. Each Premium Voucher may not be split across multiple Premium Voucher Accounts.
If your valid policy settles in USD or RMB, the face amount of Premium Voucher(s) in Hong Kong Dollar shall be calculated and converted to the policy currency of such Eligible Policy (based on prevailing market-based currency exchange rate as determined by BOC Life from time to time without prior notice) upon the day of depositing the relevant Premium Voucher(s) into Premium Wallet. Please refer to the detail of currency exchange rate here.
Yes, if you hold any valid policy(ies) of BOC Life’s Designated Insurance Products, you can deposit and use “Premium Voucher”. You can also choose to register as Live Young Advanced Member to enjoy the privilege.
BOC Life Selected Insurance Plans to Upgrade as Advanced Member does not totally the same as Premium Voucher Designated Insurance Plans. For details, please refer to Terms and Conditions.
If your policy become invalid, the remaining amount will be invalid too. Once your Eligible Policy become reinstate, you can still use the remaining amount in your Premium Wallet for settling the premium due and levies.
You can check the Premium Voucher deposit record on BOC Life eService Platform. (Menu>Premium Voucher>choose your Policy number> Check) and the remaining balance of your Premium Wallet (Menu>My Policy>Policy Overview>Select your Policy>Open “Premium Voucher Account” Portal) or check the record in your statement.
“Premium Voucher” is applicable on some of the supplementary rider(s). Please check the Terms and Conditions before use the “Premium Voucher” to ensure your supplementary rider(s) can be covered.
The policy owner has paid all the premium due and levies of the relevant Eligible Policy. The balance of Premium Wallet (if any) cannot be transferred to other Premium Wallet(s) and it is not refundable in any form under all circumstances.
All amounts deducted from the Premium Voucher Account(s) for payment of premiums will be included as paid premiums and will be taken into account for reckoning the death benefit amount payable.
For Eligible Policy(ies) that have premium refund option (including but not limited to iProtect 10 Years Insurance Plan & iRefund Hospital Cash Plan), the portion of any premium payments that has been deducted from the Premium Voucher Account(s) will under no circumstances be counted as premiums paid for reckoning the refundable amount of total premiums paid at early surrender or policy maturity.
No. The “Premium Voucher” which deposit to Premium Wallet cannot be voided. Each Eligible Policy shall have one dedicated Premium Wallet, the value cannot be refunded or transferred/ deposited to any other Premium Wallet(s).
