Application Method:
- You can log in to the eService platform > Policy Change > Change Payment Method, submit the application on the eService platform, click here to learn more
- You can submit the "Application For Autopay Form" and authorize us to deduct the premium from your designated HKD/RMB bank account or BOC credit card
Notes:
- The preset direct debit date for autopay are as follows:
- For policies with premium due date falling between the 1st and 15th day of a month, the direct debit date is preset to be the 2nd day of that month
- For policies with premium due date falling between the 16th and 31st day of the month, the direct debit date is preset to be the 16th of that month - If the direct debit date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it will be postponed to the next working day
- If the direct debit is unsuccessful, we will issue a notice to the policy owner(s). If direct debit authorization for the credit card or bank account at our company is still valid on the next direct debit date, we will execute another attempt again. For example, if the direct debit fails on the 2nd day of the month, the next attempt will be scheduled on the next direct debit date (i.e. the 16th of the month), and so on
- Please ensure that there are sufficient funds in bank account before the direct debit date to avoid the bank(s) charging account holder a fee due to unsuccessful direct debit
- In general, most banks/ credit card issuers will complete the direct debit on our preset direct debit date, but some of them may delay due to their internal arrangement. Please contact your bank(s)/ credit card issuer(s) directly in case you have any query
- As it takes time to set up the direct debit authorization and the actual processing time varies depending on the bank(s)/ credit card issuer(s). Please pay 3 months' or 1 installment of premium in advance
