Payment methods

In order for you to pay premiums or repayments of policy loans conveniently, a variety of payment methods are available:

  1. Payment by Phone Service (PPS) (applicable for premium payment only)
  2. Pay in person at our banks / BOC Life Service Centre
  3. Autopay through bank account (applicable for premium payment only)
  4. Cheque
  5. BOC Credit Card via telephone
  6. Payment by JETCO ATM (applicable for premium payment only)
  7. Internet Banking

Notes:

  1. Premiums should be paid by the Policy Owner or the Insured.
  2. For payment by BOC Credit Card, the cardholder should be the Policy Owner.
  3. Loan repayment by credit card, PPS or JETCO ATM is not accepted.
  4. We will not issue receipts to customer.

Payment by Phone Service (PPS)

If you have registered for PPS, you can use the following methods to pay premiums. (Please reserve 3 working days for the payment transfer.)

Online Service

By Telephone

  1. Log in your PPS account at http://www.ppshk.com/
  2. Select BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd. from the list under "Pay Bill"
  3. Click "Pay"
  4. Enter "Amount" and "Bill Type" ("01" – premium)
  5. Select "Pay Now"/ "Scheduled Payment" / "Monthly Payment". Click "Proceed"
  6. Verify the payment information and click "Pay" to confirm transaction and mark down "Payment Reference No." / "Scheduled Payment Reference No." / "Monthly Payment Reference" for your own record.
  1. Call 18031 (English) / 18033 (Cantonese)
  2. Enter PPS phone password
  3. Enter merchant code "9119" for BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd.
  4. Enter bill account number/bill type
    ("01" – premium)
  5. Enter amount
  6. Press "1" to confirm the payment immediately or press "8" to enter the payment date for scheduled payment
  7. Get the payment reference number or scheduled payment reference number

Fixed Line SMS Service

  1. Press "Information"
  2. Select "PPS"
  3. Select "Pay Bill/Last Bill Payment Enquiry"
  4. Enter PPS phone password
  5. Select "Pay Bill"
  6. Enter merchant code "9119" for BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd.
  7. Enter bill account number/bill type
    ("01" – premium)
  8. Enter amount
  9. Select payment type (pay now/scheduled payment). Confirm and mark down the reference number for your own record
  1. Press "Menu" and select "PPS"
  2. Log in "PPS"
  3. Select BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd. bill from "Pay Bill"
  4. Press "Pay Bill"
  5. Enter amount and bill type ("01" – premium)
  6. Select payment type (pay now/scheduled payment). Press "Pay" to confirm transaction. Mark down the reference number for your own record

Pay in Person at our Banks / BOC Life Service Centre

Pay in Person at our Banks:

You can come to our banks or their branches with the premium notice to pay the premium. You can fill in the "BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd. Payment Slip" and pay the premium by transfer or cheque there.

Pay in HKD
You can pay in HKD for USD/RMB denominated policies at spot rates quoted by payment receiving bank.

Pay in USD
(Applicable to USD denominated policies only)
Our bank will transfer the amount to USD account of BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd.

Pay in RMB
(Applicable to RMB denominated  policies only)
Our bank will transfer the amount to RMB account of BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd.

Pay by Cheque
Cheque should be made payable to "BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd.". Post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted.

Pay in Person at our BOC Life Service Centre:

You can also come to our BOC Life Service Centre to pay premium by cheque, credit cards or designated mobile payment apps.

Autopay through bank account

You can choose to pay premiums by autopay through your bank account. You need to complete and sign the form of "Application For Autopay" in order to authorize BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd. to debit the premium from your designated HKD or RMB bank account (not applicable to policies issued through telemarketing channel) or BOC credit card (not applicable to designated products).

Once the authorization is set up, we will debit the premium according to its due date in each month:

  • 00:00 hour of the 2nd day of each month: if the due date is between the 1st day and 15th day of each month
  • 00:00 hour of the 16th day of each month: if the due date is between the 16th day and 28th day of each month

Payment by Cheque

You can pay your premium by cheque. Post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted.

Cheque Deposit Machines at Banks

  1. Please issue the crossed cheque with the payee name of "BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd."
  2. Write policy number on the back of cheque
  3. Mail cheque to: G.P.O. Box 10134, Central, Hong Kong
  4. Please do not send cash/cash cheques
  5. We will not issue receipts for payments by cheque

  3. Select language
  4. Select "Pay Merchant Bill"
  5. Select "Insurance or MPF Service"
  6. Select "BOC Life"
  7. Enter bill type ( "01" - premium in HKD or "02" - policy loan repayment in HKD)
  8. Enter bill number (i.e. policy number)
  9. Enter amount
  10. Enter contact telephone number
  11. Print customer advice
    *We accept HKD cheques only. The cheque deposit machines are available in any branch of the bank you purchased this policy (only applicable to Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited or Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited

e-Cheque & e-Drop Box Bill Payment Service

  1. Please select "e-cheque Bill Payment" service in Bank of China (Hong Kong) website.
  2. Merchant Category : select "Insurance Or Pension Services"
  3. Merchant Name : select "BOC Group Life Assurance Co. Ltd."
  4. Bill Type : select the required payment currency and payment type
  5. Policy Number : Enter your "Policy number"
  6. File Location : Select the file location of your e-cheque and click "upload"
  7. Elect to receive e-Receipt or not
  8. Click "Submit" to complete the transaction

By Bank Of China Credit Card via Telephone

If payment method of your policy is "Direct Billing", please call our customer service hotline during office hours to arrange the premium payment by your Bank of China credit card.

(Note: Applicable to the policy types accepting BOC Credit Card payment and accept HKD credit card only)

Payment by JETCO ATM (Automatic Teller Machine)

You can pay your premium by JETCO ATM (only applicable to renewal premium payment in HKD). Please reserve 2 working days for the payment transfer.

JETCO ATM

  1. Please select the registered HKD account in the ATM card for further processing
  2. Select "Bill Payment" service
  3. Select "Merchant Code Entry" : 9370
  4. Enter the Two-Digit "Bill Type" : 01 (for premium payment)
  5. Enter "Bill/Account number" : Policy No.
  6. Enter the payment amount in HKD
  7. Check and confirm your payment details
  8. Upon completion, the ATM screen will display "Transaction Accepted" and please collect your receipt

Internet Banking

You can pay your premium through Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment Service (“EBPP”) or the internet banking payment services offered by various banks. For details, please contact your bank.
